Another new necklace

Here is the second incarnation of my latest style. The stone is Variscite and the pattern on it reminds me of snakeskin.

I've had a little time off since the semester has been over so I was able to make a necklace that was a comission. It's quite different from my usual style but I really like it. It's done in bronze and brass and the stone is petrified palm wood. It has inspired me to make some more necklaces in the same vein. This stone is one of a kind, so looking for other stones that would be suitable has been a challenge but definitely a fun one!
